Where is God in Our Fires? | Jordan St. Cyr

By now, you probably know Jordan St. Cyr’s song “Fires.” But what you may not know is that several months after he wrote the song, Jordan and his wife faced an unexpected fire of their own when their daughter Emery was born with a neurological condition.

We talked about what he’s learned through the hard times, how he’s wrestled through God allowing this to happen, and the everyday miracles that have come along the way. Plus, he shared what’s been helpful for his family and how you can support someone walking through a fire of their own.

To start this off I lost both my parents and an uncle in the year before we lost the apartment building that we lived in burnt and condemned. We had to move in with our daughters and grandsons. There are six people living in a four-bedroom apartment. It has been almost a year that we moved in on them. I have Epilepsy and it is getting hard to keep my seizures controlled. We would like it you would pray that an apartment that we can afford because we are retired.

Hi Becca, I am a single mom a
that just got some undefined medical results recently and I am thankful for hearing this discussion with Jordan St. Cyr. Ditto to Nathan the Valet. I am gratful for the inspiration and thankful for WayFM Prayer Wall for the many prayers on our behalf because as a mom to a great little boy, I am really trying to stand in faith and I know that God has us. Blessings to both you and Jordan. Keri
