George Floyd died in Minneapolis, but he was from Houston. Jeremy Foster is the pastor of Hope City in Houston, and he shared this video of how devastated he and his community are about Floyd’s death.

Floyd’s death has brought the national conversation about the use of force and race back to the forefront in our country. Foster said, “I cannot know what you’re feeling, but I can hold your hand and help you breathe.”

We think this discussion needs to happen more often, and that it provides an enormous opportunity for us to share the Gospel of Jesus within our culture.

This is truly a time to grieve for a great soul lost to hate and racial inequality! We at the Megachurch headed by Pastor Keion, https://www.keionhenderson.com/ over here in Houston show our solidarity and support for George Floyd. May he rest in peace!
