Why God started in a season of my life where I was on my knees screaming out those words for myself, and I remember feeling like it wasn’t allowed. Like it made me a bad Christian.
But it was through his son that Austin began to realize God wants to hear our tough questions.
My son asks me all these questions about anything and everything and he doesn’t always get my answers. But what he does get is that he can sit in his daddy’s lap and ask me anything, and I want every single question, and I love him no matter what.
I believe that asking, “Why God?“ doesn’t make us a bad Christian, maybe it just makes us a kid who needs their dad and that’s ok!
Still in the “Why?” and pushing Him away season right now, I’ve been here over and over and go to Him only to be hurt again. It doesn’t matter the reason, it hurts and I would never put my own through it.
The great thing is He still pursues us even in those times.
