Skillet’s Jen Ledger Gives Incredible Advice on How to Battle Anxiety | Coffee Talk

Jen Ledger’s advice on how she personally battles fear and anxiety needs to be heard. After battling intense anxiety during a Skillet tour, band mate Korey Cooper gave her the most beautiful and tangible advice on what to do when anxiety comes back for another fight.

“What if this is something that just never goes away for me?” “Then you fight, Jen. While there’s breath in your lungs and until the day that you die, you never stop fighting. You do not let fear rob you of your own life.” – Korey Cooper (Skillet)

Jen added her own solo project to the mix. It’s called LEDGER.

WOW! Great interview. I wrote some of her words in my journal so I can remember them. I’m so glad I watched this video. Thank you Jen Ledger for understanding and giving those words of wisdom.

My 20 yr old daughter faces fear anxiety and depression all the time along with myself. I deal with it with the help from God and my husband she stays stuck. I pray for her daily and pray for her reconnection with God. I shared Jen’s message with her and my prayer also is that she will take the time to listen and also to her latest song ” Not Dead Yet” Her name ( my daughter) is Britney.

All 3 of my adult children struggle daily with depression and anxiety. I too but I try to stay positive for them. They live far away from me so that makes it harder to help. Please pray for our family. It’s so tiring for all 4 of us. We try to smile and try to get up everyday and do our best. It’s so hard.

“Do not let fear rob you of your own life” AMEN. I face anxiety every Sunday morning. I was hurt by clergy as a child. Every time I get ready to go play piano at Sunday service, I panic. God knows. Sometimes I have allowed it to get the best of me and could not make it to service. But thankfully, despite my struggles, I am on my 4th year at this church. This is the year I will not let fear rob me of my own life! Thank you for sharing. God bless you in your solo career. Warmly,… Read more »
