Matthew West’s Acoustic Performance of “The God Who Stays”

This heart warming, acoustic performance of “The God Who Stays” is a great reminder of the goodness of our Father, who runs to us and not away.

You probably know Matthew West, known for his timeless CCM hits like “Truth Be Told” and “Hello, My Name Is,” but did you know he’s also responsible for writing many of your favorites like Anne Wilson’s “My Jesus” and Natalie Grant’s “Something Beautiful.”

“You’re the God who stays. You’re the one who runs in my direction. When the whole world walks away, You’re the God who stands with wide open arms. And You tell me nothing I have ever done can separate my heart from the God who stays.”

What a beautiful song! He has a great voice! He’s right God does stay. God said he will never leave us.
