Kirk Franklin’s Tiny Desk Concert Is Practically a Worship Service

NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts are a fun series featuring artists like Taylor Swift, Little Big Town, and Miley Cyrus performing in a cute, stereotypical office setting.

This month, in honor of Black History Month, NPR is highlighting “four weeks of Tiny Desk (home) concerts and playlists by Black artists spanning different genres and generations each week.”

This week, Kirk Franklin took us all to church. He said, “I know you’re at home right now, in your draws, listening to some Jesus music. It’s ok. Jesus loves you in your draws!”

Whether you’re home or on your lunch break, take five minutes and worship along with us.

Set List:
Love Theory

I love me some Kirk Franklin!!! I was introduced to his music in 1993 with his GospoCentric debut and saw him every time he came to Southern California!!! I even got to interview him twice for my video show. Truly humble and anointed talent.
