Switchfoot – New Way to Be Human (1999)
I was first introduced to Switchfoot with this song all the way back in 1999. Still one of my faves, and I’ve been a huge fan of the band ever since.
Audio Adrenaline – Some Kind of Zombie (1997)
Not gonna lie, I love pretty much everything these guys did, so it was hard to narrow it down to one song. From “DC-10” to “Hands & Feet”, Audio Adrenaline has a pretty strong presence in my playlists.
Code of Ethics – Soulbait (1997)
Although they’re probably better known for their electronic/pop sound in songs like “Satellite Babies”, Code of Ethics had some great rock songs too, especially on Soulbait.
P.O.D. – Southtown (1999)
It’s P.O.D. – I dare you to not crank the volume.
DC Talk – Jesus Freak (1995)
Any list of Christian rock would be incomplete without this fundamental DC Talk hit, although the whole Jesus Freak album holds a venerated space in my collection.
