(San Jose, California): A teenager who wants to remain anonymous has been giving out food and water in San José, spending about $20 a day from his own pocket. He says he wears a costume not only to conceal his identity but to bring attention to the increase in homelessness in his city. Batman engages in conversation with people who are homeless —handing out bottles of water, canned tuna and ravioli, shirts and socks. He asks how people are doing, poking his head into tents to make sure the occupants are all right. He’s been doing this for a year but recently has been going every day. 🦇❤️ Reporter: @marisakendall photos: @mercnews / @nhatgnat Follow his journey : @batman_of_san_jose
