Actor Terry Crews Tweets Support For Fight The New Drug & Defunding PornHub

Terry Crews is a former NFL player and the current host of America’s Got Talent. Starring in films and TV shows over the years hasn’t kept him quiet on his stance agains pornography or its connection with human trafficking. In the past, he’s shared petitions from organizations like Exodus Cry that fights for the freedom of those bought and sold in the sex industry. Fight The New Drug describes themselves as a “Non-religious, non-legislative, research-based nonprofit raising awareness on the harmful effects of porn & exploitation.”

Terry isn’t just speaking from his Christian beliefs here. Crews has struggled with his own porn addiction which he publicly addressed in 2016 saying, “It changes the way you think about people. People become objects. It affected everything. I didn’t tell my wife … didn’t tell my friends. Nobody knew, but the internet allowed that little secret to just stay and grow. It was something that my wife was literally like, ‘I don’t know you anymore. I’m out of here.’”

July 30th is World Day against Trafficking. As conspiracies of Hollywood, politicians, and retailers explode, you can make a real difference for exploited people in your own community – even in your own home by ending porn, educating yourself, and supporting a local organization that rescues or rehabilitates survivors.
