We’ve just finished up another Easter. That means that my house is full of chocolate bunnies and plastic eggs, while my Facebook feed is full of posed family portraits.

In reality, the 10-ish minutes surrounding those photos are full of grumpy kids that just want to go play Fortnite, and parents that are exasperated because, “they just want one photo with everyone smiling.”

All of that being said, there were some rather funny posts on social media that came from this Easter season. Here’s some of the best ones I came across.

Matthew West’s New Easter Baskets

Easter baskets aren’t as fun when your parents are on Whole 30.

John Branyan’s Take on the Resurrection Story

Comedian John Branyan retold the Resurrection Story on his blog. Check out why the Resurrection is Hilarious.

If I’m not supposed to be afraid, Mr. Angelic Guy, you ought to change the way you make your entrance… Instead of earthquakes, lightning and loud voices – angels should appear as Elmer Fudd. Elmer Fudd voice: “Your (W)ord is not here. He is (w)isen!”

John Crist’s “Parents on the Way to Church”

Every parent knows how difficult it can be to get everyone up and ready for church on Sunday. Especially Easter Sunday.

Retweet from Last Year’s John Crist Post

Last year, John Crist’s “Bible Verse Lady” went Easter shopping.
